2011 MINI BRITANNIA PREVIEW

Mini Britannia 14 October 2011, a one-day event catering for both Competition and Regularity contenders, starting and finishing in Llandudno.

Cars varying from the David Betts/Susan Gledhill Ford Shelby GT350 to the Austin Allegro of Doug Dawe/ErnestWaldron will be competing on this inaugural Mini Britannia. Scrutineering takes place on the Thursday evening in the Victoria Centre car park where cars can be left overnight and documentation is at the St. Georges Hotel on the Promenade.

This unique event starts from the Promenade and takes in two special stages before arriving at the Anglesey Circuit for a thirty-minute race. Those electing to do the Regularity route will be meeting up here and doing five ‘flying laps’. There follows two more stages before lunch at Caernarvon Airport. The afternoon continues with more stages and regularities, the highlight of the day being the 4.5-mile stage across the Great Orme Marine Drive before finishing back at the St. Georges Hotel Llandudno.
