Prescott Historique meeting dominated by Clubmans

On both days of the Prescott Historique (May 23/24), held under beautiful sunshine the cars of the Clubmans Register Challenge dominated the times at the top of the sheet. On both days Sam Nicholson (Mallock Mk20) took the top spot finally recording 43.21sec to hold off a stern challenge from Mike Luck in his self-build Dart. Ben Rolls (Mallock Mk18) made real progress all weekend in his ever-improving car to grab third by 0.01 sec from Chaz Jones (Mallock Mk20/21) and Robin Nicholson. These five were the fastest cars in the whole meeting.

This stunning performance shows a real renaissance of interest in Clubman cars on the hills as a cost-effective way to compete in really quick cars. The Clubmans Register is working hard to secure an opportunity to compete with these cars in their own series in 2027.
