Unmissable is the first word that springs to mind when previewing this event organised by my friends at the Historic Rally Car Register. Not just a social gathering comprising the great and good of rallying, here you can meet organisers, advisers, trade representatives, autojumble sellers, in fact every area within the sport, there will even be somebody selling raffle tickets. All taking place inside the main building. Entry to Open Day is free, but normal rates apply to Museum entry. As there is also an expansive display of landmark rally cars out in the parking area, that includes Escorts, Jaguars, Lancias, Minis, Hillman Imps etc etc, the place will, as ever, be packed so best get there early. The British Motor Museum is easily found, follow the signs from M40 (Junction 12). Team Retro-speed members will be there in abundance so please, stop and say hello.
